Isolation, loneliness, exclusion…just a few words that too often describe the experience of children and adults with disabilities. But, at Fellinlove Farm, children and adults of ALL abilities are encouraged to come “experience the joy”.
The purpose of Fellinlove Farm is to provide educational opportunities for people of all ages, socioeconomic levels, and abilities with a focus on children and adults with diverse need. Their unique approach to nature education allows even the most secluded people to enjoy the safe and serene lessons the farm offers, such as:
- -Interactive tours to help accommodate guests with autism or
- -sensory processing needs
- – wheelchair-accessibility
- -stationary opportunities for those with limited mobility
- -wide variety of animals to allow guests an opportunity to experience emotional diversity
Fellinlove farm is a very special place and because of your continued generosity, we were able to award them a B.E.S.T. Community grant so they will be able to expand their services and increase the number of children and adults they can assist this year. Thank you for giving this gift…a glimpse into a world that has been off limits for so many with severe limitations and a look into the past for many elderly visitors with dementia….a gift that allows everyone an opportunity to enjoy nature and all of its gifts.
